The Inmarsat GPS satellite transceiver is the ultimate solution

for asset tracking and security, fleet management, SCADA and personal messaging applications. Integrated type approved INMARSAT Transceiver, GPS receiver and omni-directional antenna housed in a rugged, environmentally sealed package. Its low power consumption makes it the ideal solution for battery

applications such as non-powered asset tracking and remote SCADA applications. Small profile allows it to be mounted, i.e. railroad, trailers, on assets inconspicuously, drawing little notice from operators and would be thieves.

INMARSAT NETWORK

Built-in scripting capability allows the unit to operate as a stand-alone unit without any external controller, thus lowering costs and power consumption. Simply, program your customized script into non-volatile memory, apply power and the transceivers will operate autonomously, reporting when your programmed events occur. Programmed events can include time of day, time intervals, actions and any GPS related information, or external sensor triggering. The transceivers can be configured locally through the RS-232 user data port or remotely over the satellite, saving expensive visits by field technicians.
